About

Photography is in my blood. It started when my great, great grandfather took up the profession in 1868, just 29 years after the invention of the medium. He was one of the pioneers of photography in Wales. Since then four generations of my family have been professional photographers.

From my studio in Brisbane, I undertake a variety of work shooting for major companies and magazines, both national and international. Previous commissions include photographing priceless antiques for Christies the fine art auctioneers, publicity photography for the BBC, and major office developments for international real estate company Knight Frank

This was preceded by several years as a staff photographer at The Natural History Museum where I photographed everything from microscopic insects to gigantic dinosaurs.

After moving to Australia in 1999 I set up my studio initially in The Valley before moving to my purpose built studio on the Northside in 2006.

My work has been published in numerous magazines including:

Home Beautiful
House and Garden
Queensland Homes
Motor Sport
Classic Bike
